For each additional 1 kg of body weight, feed an additional ½ of can or pouch per day when only wet food, and 14 g of dry food when only dry food fed, and ¼ extra can/pouch and 7 g dry food when mixed food is given for weight maintenance.
It is important to closely monitor the cat’s glycaemia during the first weeks of feeding PURINA PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS DM St/Ox Diabetes Management in order to adjust the insulin dosage.
